Bridge health monitoring system combines several modern advanced technologies,such as sensor technology,communication technology to monitor the bridge health status in real time.And uses the intelligent evaluation system to analyze various kinds of monitoring data in-depth,and isuue alerts when the bridge health status is abnormal,so as to provide decision basis for bridge management and maintenance.Through theoretical research and engineering application experience,it’s found that a typical 5×35m precast box beam and pier column structure of one highway connecting line bridge are the key in the structural health monitoring system research and design,and the main contents are as follows:(1)Finite element analysis software is used to analyze box girder stress distribution in serviceability limit state,bearing capacity limit state and standard load combination at operation phase.Through the simulation analysis,safety critical control section are found to optimization the sensor layout.(2)The reliability analysis of the lower vase shape pier structure is conducted to determine the key monitoring indicators and modes in the operation stage.(3)Design and built automatic data acquisition subsystem,the study of the technical performance sensor devices,data acquisition equipment,data processing equipment should be as comprehensive as possible,and determine the synergistic relationship of all modules,and design data acquisition and transmission process.(4)In order to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data,the intelligent artificial patrol subsystem is established to coordinate with the automatic data acquisition system.The combination of two ways is used to meet the demands of the maintenance in the bridge operation stage.(5)A central database subsystem is designed and set up,for the unified storage and management of data from different sources,and edit,delete,archive,inquire,store,print,output data,these functions supports all application subsystems.(6)A Structural Safety Alert and Comprehensive Evaluation Subsystem is designed and set up,to technically mine and analyze relevant data deeply,to monitor the structure in real-time and warn timely,and provide information for scientific decision for necessary maintenance suggestion and plans.(7)For the convenience of user operation,and timely acquaint the bridge structure information,the use interface system is designed based on principles: powerful function,operation convenience,concise and efficient,management oriented.
