Railway signaling station interlocking system is the important technical equipment which can guarantee traffic safety and enhance operational efficiency. Safety and reliability of computerized interlocking system (CIS) have considerably progressed with the development of technology and the introduction of international safety management standards, but traditional relay equipment standards are still used in maintenance and repair of present systems, it is short of scientific and effective evaluation methods to update and transform the systems and equipment. Therefore, it may not give full play to the advantage of computers and electronic devices and may lead to a waste of investment as well.To provide theoretical support for replacing CIS reasonably, this thesis proposed a theoretical model to predicate service life of CIS, and verified its validity by taking XY-type CIS as an example, which has been used in Chinese arterial lines extensively.The main work follows:(1) Analyzed the significance of life predication in the field of railway signaling after consulting the present application of CIS and the present research of life predication theory in different fields.(2) Deeply analyzed the key method of predicating service life of system, based on the basis of analysis and main contents of life predication of CIS, and an analytical process was put forward for life predication as well.(3) Analyzed influence factors of service life of CIS, and put forward the evaluation method of service life. Then established fault tree model based on the hardware structure of the system, a deep analysis of failure model of key part of the system was carried out. At last, according to the characteristics of usage and maintenance, established the fault tree model taking board level fault as the bottom event, and obtained the minimal cut sets.(4) Analyzed fault data of CIS by probability statistics. Then estimated the parameters of life distribution function on the basis of the result of selecting and inspecting life distribution type of different units of the system. At last, an automatic analytical tool was implemented by programming.(5) Raised the life predication model of CIS. Then taking XY-type CIS as an example, predicated the system’s service life by analyzing the fault data, and verified the validity of this model.Though theoretic calculation and simulation analyses, the life predication method of CIS which had been raised in this paper was proved to be practical, it could provide guidance for maintenance and upgrade of Chinese railway computerized interlocking systems and devices...
