With the development of science and technology, the requirement of bearing rotation accuracy is improved and the research of bearing rotation accuracy has obtained a good development. But the measurement technology lagged behind the theoretical research. In order to test and verify the theoretical model, the following works have been done in this paper:(1) Theoretical study of bearing rotation accuracy is introduced. The insufficient of experiment is illustrated. And then the existing test method of bearing rotation error and spindle rotation error are introduced. Through contrasting the merits and faults of spindle rotation error methods, discussed the feasibility for testing the bearing rotation error.(2) The relationship between bearing rotation error and spindle rotation error is analysed. based on the Three-point Method, the method of extracting the bearing rotation error is put forward. The step is:First, separate the form error of the spindle. Second, calculate the rotation error of the spindle. Third, work out the rotation error of the rolling bearing. And two examples are used to verify this method.(3) Based on the conditions of available equipment, the test bed of bearing rotation error is designed. The main task are finishing the structural design of the test bed, developing the PC software which is used for receiving the displacement and angle signal by C#and developing the bearing rotation error extraction software by MATLAB.(4) In the case of a certain radial force, two deep groove ball bearings whose inner and outer ring raceway form error is known, are tested for the rotation error. The shortcoming of the theoretical model is discovered by contrasting test result and theoretical result. In the case of different radial force, the bearing rotation error is tested. The results of the experiment indicate that the radial force applied by the test bed should not greater than250N.
