China is an earthquake prone country, a magnitude8.0earthquake occurred in Wenchuan in2008,has brought great disaster to the country and the people, cause the attention of the world, followed by the occurrence of the earthquake in Yushu, Ya’an earthquake, Ludian earthquake, which caused several people earthquake great harm, several of the most severe earthquake damage are the vast rural areas, a large number of rural residential collapse and destruction of the earthquake to bring the lessons, but also the attention of more people into the seismic safety of rural residential on the issue of research on seismic behavior of living for farmers has become an important topic of research in earthquake safety building.In this paper, under the auspices of the Education Department of Anhui Province outstanding young talent fund project "the rural earthquake safety performance study of the Tanlu fault zone in Anhui section", in the section of the Anhui and the surrounding area launched a large-scale investigation, the investigation found that the area due to the rural residents of earthquake resistant consciousness is weak, backward construction technology, the lack of structure seismic professional knowledge and other reasons, the area of agricultural population there are many security problems, the seismic performance is not optimistic. For further research in the area of rural residential earthquake performance, this paper on the local farmers in the masonry structure by using finite element software ABAQUS to get the dynamic analysis, damage of masonry structure with different seismic fortification measures under the effect of earthquake, in order to seismic analysis of local area of rural residential energy, the work done mainly in the following arrangement:(1) Simple discusses the research background, summarizes recent scholars of rural residential earthquake Performance of present situation.(2) We arried out a field survey the current situation of agricultural population in the Tanlu fault zone in Anhui region and the surrounding area, through the survey results of structure form agricultural settlements is mainly for the masonry structure, the agricultural population and there are a lot of problems of security problems, the seismic performance is not optimistic, for the region to farmers in many problems, and give some relevant advice.(3) Description of main damage form of the masonry structure, and analyzes the main causes of structural failure.(4) According to the survey, set up typical agricultural settlements models by using ABAQUS software, rational choice and describes the finite element analysis software ABAQUS software related features; according to the characteristics of masonry structural materials, masonry structure introduced various material properties and constitutive model, and analyzed the dynamic characteristics of typical agricultural settlements.(5) Using software ABAQUS to four different aseismic structural measures of the masonrymodel for dynamic analysis, get the damage under the earthquake effect of structure and the displacement response, according to the analysis results, the evaluation gives several farmers in the masonry structure seismic performance.(6) Summarized the seismic performance of rural residential status inTanlu fault zone in Anhui and the surrounding areas and pointed out some shortcomings of this article exist.
