Ship piping system design is one of the main content of ship general design. A good ship piping system not only need experts or engineers of pipe to participate in design, but also need a good piping design method. An effective design method plays an important role in the ship piping system design. And it has much more benefits to improve the quality of ship piping system, reduce the period of the ship overall design and enhance the ship building efficiency. However, in real ship piping design, it is extremely difficult to realize automatic piping design because of the complexity of ship piping system. On account of the current situation, research on ship pipe routing optimization design based on human-computer cooperation is put forward in the essay.Ship piping system design mainly has three components, namely, single pipeline design, multiple pipelines parallel design and branch pipeline design. A deep research on single pipeline design and multiple pipelines parallel design is conducted in the paper. Pipe routing optimization design belongs to NP hard problem. There were many scholars doing some research on piping routing optimization problem using intelligent optimization algorithms in recent years, and some achievements were obtained. But the method of just using computer iteration without designer’s guidance in the process of calculation would result in the algorithm having certain limitations. In order to improve the convergence performance of algorithm, some research work about three-dimensional piping layout method is put into effect. Some research work has been done on human-computer cooperation mechanism of piping routing design. The adding method and adding principle of artificial individuals are explained. Think about the features of piping layout, improved ant colony algorithm based on human-computer cooperation is put forward. And the procedure of piping layout ant colony algorithm is given. The process of ant colony algorithm based on human-computer cooperation applying on three-dimensional pipeline routing problem is proposed.In addition, simulation experiment proves that combining ant colony algorithm with human-computer cooperation solves three-dimensional single pipeline routing problem better than solving the same problem only by intelligent optimization algorithms. Besides, combining co-evolutionary algorithm with human-computer cooperation solves three-dimensional multiple pipelines routing problem better, too. And optimal design of human-computer cooperation piping layout has a certain and creative reference value and significance for piping system design.
