To study the converters produced saturated steam recycling which may achieved to save energy. In this study we are taking waste heat boiler in steelmaking department of An Steel Bayuquan branch as an example. The factory network is commonly produced overheat steam.However saturated steam can not be used in power grid interconnection. The waste heat boiler output is not balanced, so we first send the steam to heat accumulator to adjust the pressure then transfer outward.We build a waste heat power station, which has a set of8MW saturated steam overload condensing steam turbine and ancillary facility. We transfer the recycling medium-pressure and low pressure saturated steam in to electric energy and bind into the whole company’s network.We used quasi-synchronizing method in turbogenerator, to adjust the voltage, frequency and phase angle when bind into network, in order to make the electricity state of turbogenerator and network as same as possible.Generator bus bar use subsection connection, reactive compensation is based on the total step-down substation synchronous motor system concentrated compensation.Waste heat power station and electricity system bind in power grid interconnection but not in national network, all the electric energy are for the company use only. We control and protect the converter waste heat power generation system through DEH, DCS, ETS and TSI.There are two ways to access network, using power flow analysis and short-circuit current calculation, then analysis the flow changes after the power grid interconnection. We found that in this two ways to access network, if we use the surplus steam generator series reactor access to the section II total step-down substation10kV system bus steelmaking.the bus bar’s short-circuit current and the total generator’s capacity are closely approach, but it may damage the electric system. So we use plan B, surplus steam generator and two CDQ power generator separately link in series reactor and then bind into the total step-down substation.10kV system for steelmaking’s bus bar, whiqh is more stable when,the system has perturbation through transient analysis.We study the control and power grid interconnection technology converter waste heat power generation system, which can recycle medium-pressure saturated steam and reduce the waste of energy. By using this network connect case analysis in to actual engineering; we can avoid influence of power grid interconnection in electric system.
