Research And Development Of The Pump Selection System Based On ASP.NET

Pump is widely used as a kind of energy intensive general machinery in the national economy. However, in the current industrial production, the pump efficiency is low and the serious waste of energy was caused because of the unreasonable selection of pump. Many parameters are involved in the process of pump selection. The traditional manual calculation selection method is in efficient. It can’t meet the practical requirements of pump enterprise and users. With the development of computer network technology, there are many excellent online commercial pump selection systems in foreign country, by contrast, domestic online selection system is less and the development is slow.Based on the above background, this article analyzes and summarizes the domestic and overseas pump selection software and online selection system, and then research the key technology of online selection system combined with the actual demand of pump production enterprise. By optimal computing the data information of various types of pump product, the online pump selection platform which owns the perfect functions, friendly interface, and easy operation is developed using ASP.NET network programming technology and SQL Server database management technology. This selection platform not only reduces the workload of pump selection, but also improves the efficiency and precision of selection.This selection system is established based on the B/S three-tier architecture. It includes user register login module, pump selection module, database maintenance module and customer message module. And it realizes a lot of functionality, such as user register and login, line loss calculation, device NPSH (Net Positive Suction Head) calculation, device characteristics curve equation calculation, water pump characteristic curve fitting and display, pump selection, database maintenance, user messages data download and so on.This article elaborated the development process of the whole system from the system development technology, the system overall design, pump selection method, the system database set up and the realization of each function module in the system.
