The life cycle is a kind of process which includes raw materialsextraction, manufacturing, packaging, transportation, marketing, purchase, costumer use, refurbishment, repair, recycling, and disposal as waste. Theproduct life cycle (PLC) not only includes the marketing activity of product inthe market. As one of the biggest energy consuming industry, the automotive industrydevelops quite rapidly in china. However, the domestic research of new energygreen concept automotive design is much more insufficient than that of foreign. The theory of PLC, which is a new theory in the field of automotive industry, hasgreat value to research and manufacture the new energy green conceptautomotive. The PLC is also an important index to evaluate whether the productis green and sustainability. In this work, one redesigns and programs the curve of PLC through amount ofresearches on PLC. Moreover, the method of extending PLC is found. Themodular design, the improvement and the “cradle to cradle” design are allapplied in the design of this work. A relatively complete land transport system isdesigned. This system can not only meet the demand of consumers’ basic travel, but also make the product more individual through the modular design. Becauseof the easy maintenance and replacement, the PLC of this designed new energygreen concept automotive is extended. In this manuscript, the categories of thenew energy green concept automotive and the characters of this automotive areboth outlined. In addition, the energy, material, and property are also illustratedin detail. This work provides the credible founded theoretical basis of the newenergy green concept automotive independently.
