Due to the influence of climate and other factors, Photovoltaic power generationand wind power generation have the characteristics of intermittent and uncertainty.Large-scale wind farm or Photovoltaic power plant is located in the remote regionswhere the power grid structure is relatively weak, is mostly far away from load center,it is necessary to build remote transmission line to transmit electric energy for loadcenter. Large-scale output power fluctuation will adversely affect balance betweensupply and demand of the connected grid. The solar energy and wind energy are verycomplementary in the distribution of time, considering the clusteringPhotovoltaic-wind joint power generation is the effective approach to achieve thelarge-scale harmonious development of Photovoltaic power generation and windpower generation. How to measure and describe the output power fluctuationcharacteristics of the clustering Photovoltaic-wind joint power generation and thenoptimize the integrated power transmission capacity are important issues in researchareas of renewable energy power generation.This paper established the output power model of PV power plant which canreflect the relationship between output power and radiation intensity, temperature,conversion efficiency of PV cell. For the problem that traditional time-series analysiscan’t concretely describe the output power characteristic of renewable energy powergeneration, this paper presented the description method of fluctuation characteristic ofthe clustering Photovoltaic-wind joint power generation system based on continuousoutput analysis, applied the assessment indices of continuous output curve to describethe fluctuation degree of output power of the the clustering Photovoltaic-wind jointpower generation system.For the economy problem of remote transmission system, this paper used thestatic optimization method for transmission capacity, synthetically considered many influencing factors and optimized the transmission capacity configuration to improveeconomy. The Studies has practical significance, and can provide fundamental basisfor realizing combined operation of Photovoltaic-wind power generation andpromoting large-scale harmonious development of solar energy and wind energy.
