Circulating water secondary filter can not only ensure the condenser cleaningoperation,but also has great effect on the flow field of the condenser’s inlet waterroom. The comparative study of the different type of secondary filter effecting flowfield homogeneity of condenser inlet water room has important significance forimproving type of the secondary filter and enhancing the flow field homogeneity ofinlet water room.In order to study the secondary filters of different forms influence on circulatingwater flow field.The article adapts the numerical simulation of variation of circulatingwater flow field in the condition of the different forms’ secondary filters was carriedout through of the computing fluid dynamics ANSYSFLUENT software. Firstly,through quantitatively calculation of flow field uniformity, their rectifier strength andwater resistance were analyzed and their resistance curves were traced out at differentcirculating water fluxes. Secondly, in order to compare the different forms ofsecondary filters, the best opening rate of punching-shape secondary filter with thenew well-shape secondary filter were compared circulating water flow characteristics,and compared the two shapes secondary filter leading to the change of flow fielduniformity and resistance. Finally, under the same condition, different forms ofsecondary filters’ rectifier strength and water resistance were analyzed.Above studies show that Adding the two shapes secondary filter effects the flowof circulating water, by contrast, the well-shape secondary filter’s rectifier effects moreapparent. Compared with the punching-shape, the resistance of the well-shapesecondary filter is smaller. When adding the well-shape secondary filter, the circulatingwater flow is the steadiest near the net surface after passing through the secondary filter,also the pressure drop which the filter leaded to is the minimum, and the low speed areathat the secondary filter caused reduces obviously, in which the circulation flow field uniformity coefficient increases significantly, and the rectifiable effect is the best.
