In steel building,the column base connection is one of the key parts that affects themain structure function.The design of column base connection only consider monotonicbending moment,but with spatial analysis methods were developed and applied,it isnecessary to consider the column base connection under the biaxial bending.but thetheoretical analysis and experimental study are less in the domestic and overseas,alsothere is no a ystematic analysis method to to design a column base connection underbiaxial bending in the current specification. The research of the mechanical propertieshas important theoretical and practical significance when the column base connectionunder biaxial bending.Studying on the anchor bolt-type column base connection under the biaxialbending moment of the mechanical properties.At first,analyze the theory of the force-deformation curve, In numerical simulations,check the finite element model by a fouranchor bolt exposed cast steel column base connection.This study is aimed at a columnbase connection under two loading mode, strong axis bending and biaxial bendingespecially mechanical performance analysis.Studying the stress distribution anddeformation pattern of the base plate and the anchor bolt.Researching the influencefactors of column base connection: Anchor bolt diameter and position, plate thickness,stiffener thickness etc. Including simulate the flexural capacity and stiffness of thecolumn base connection under the biaxial bending. Analysis the stress distribution of thebase plate and the stress state of anchor bolt.The flexural bearing capacity and elasticstiffness in a certain range with the change of parameters.In this article,The stress distribution of the base plate is not uniform and thedamage is plastic failure.The stress of the whole anchor bolt is increased rapidly andgradually into the strength of the bending moment, and the stress of the anchor bolt isdecreased with the increase of the bending moment.Increasing the thickness of the baseplate can effectively improve the mechanical properties of base connection.The anchor bolt is the most main factor for a sharp decline appears when the anchor bolt diameterreduces.
