Optical fiber communication is an important part of power system and plays an important role in the development of society.However,the long distance between stations restricts the transmission of information.The design method of ultra-long distance optical transmission system is mainly studied and analyzed,and the design method is applied in practice.Firstly,the basic concepts and technologies of ultra-long distance optical transmission system in power system are analyzed.At the same time,the main technologies of optical transmission system based on optical fiber communication and the shortcomings of realizing optical communication in special areas are analyzed.Through analysis and comparison,the worst-case design method is chosen to realize this project.Design of ultra long haul optical transmission system in power system.Secondly,according to the characteristics of no relay in ultra-long distance optical transmission system of power system,this paper deeply studies the specificdesign method of ultra-long distance optical transmission system of power system,and studies the system capacity design method and system expansion method,optical power budget method,optical power balance technology,chromaticity dispersion budget and compensation technology.Operation,polarization mode chroma budget,system nonlinear compensation technology and Raman amplification technology.Finally,relying on the project example of Haibei-Yakeshi-Lingdong 500 kV ultra-long distance optical transmission system design,this paper elaborates the design scheme of ultra-long distance optical transmission system of power system without relay.The construction scheme of communication part includes transmission system design,optical interface and electrical interface design.And the network scheme design,the optical cable construction scheme is mainly based on the meteorological conditions of the analysis and study of the selection of optical cable,and the design results of the transmission configuration effect of the test and qualitative analysis of the design results,the analysis shows that the design of the Mongolian East Haibei-Yakeshi-Lingdong ultra-long distance optical transmission system is a combination of the project.It is of great significance to the construction of similar projects in the future.
