In recently, China railway develops rapidly. The construction of passenger dedicated line and existing lines make the demand of rail in rapid growth and the requirement of rail specification change, continuously welded rail transportation becomes an important research area of railway freight transportation. Due to the high cost and the shortage of capacity of railway special vehicle for rail transportation, using ordinary flat wagon equipped with special pallet has become a development trend. The loading and securing plan with ordinary flat wagon of500m continuously welded rail provides a safe, reliable and economic security for China’s railway construction.This article takes500m continuously welded rail pallet of the China Railway13th Bureau Group Co.Ltd as an example, using finite element analysis method and the finite element simulation software, makes scientific researches on structural analysis and test of500m continuously welded rail pallet, the main contents are as follow:1) Learn the foreign and domestic transportation method and loading plan of continuously welded rail, and the development and application of FEA technology.2) Using the ANSYS software, make the FEA calculation of500m continuously welded rail in the static loading, and analysis of rail and pallet interaction relations.3) Using the Solidworks software, make the theoretical analysis and FEA calculation of ordinary pallet and locked pallet on their structural strength.4) Learn the500m continuously welded rail pallet test, and compare with the FEA simulation, to verify the rationality and reliability of the pallet simulation model.5) Based on the simulation and test, make optimization of500m continuously welded rail pallet structural weak parts that verified with Solidworks software.6) Learn the conversion coefficient calculation principle of500m continuously welded rail pallet test, and make an improvement calculation by ANSYS software.The research shows that optimization of500m continuously welded rail pallet weak parts could improve the structural strength of the pallet greatly, conversion coefficient improvement of500m continuously welded rail pallet test helps to get more proper results of railway transportation pallet. Results lay the groundwork for500m continuously welded rail pallet development, and promote structural technology.
