Unsignalized intersection is the intersection place of mixed traffic flow in roadnetworks, which plays a very important role in the urban road network. Traffic steeringcausing conflict between traffic, intersection, traffic diversion exercise behavior,coupled with mixed traffic flow problems caused by pedestrians and non-motorizedvehicles, result in complex traffic intersections. Therefore, the study of urbanunsignalized intersection capacity becomes important.Concerning the ability of intersection traffic sign control, the related domestic andforeign scholars did not consider the impact of non-motorized and pedestrian, so theresults can not conform to reality. Based on the urban road network traffic conditionsand the present situation of the mixed traffic intersection place obviously, combiningwith the shortage of the existing research methods, comprehensively considering theeffect of pedestrians and non-motor vehicles for motor vehicles, the paper puts forwardthe concept of equivalent population flow and divides equivalent crowd flow at theintersection of the conflict in detail for each motor traffic, the introduction of trafficconflict technique method is analyzed to determine flow priority level, then proposesequivalent across the main branch street crowd flow priority hierarchy and respectivelyestablishes motor traffic through the intersection of multiple conflict traffic capacitycalculation model. At the same time it gets the formulas on right turn traffic withoutequivalent crowd flow and with equivalent crowd flow. Finally, take462Intersectionfor example. It presents the recommended values of the parameters in the model, andthe validity of the model. It considers the effect of equivalent population flow,compared to the average calculation method ignoring the complexity of mixed trafficflow intersections of the status quo, which is more in line with the actual situation ofurban road intersections. It has a higher theoretical significance and practical value.
