With the residents’increasing demand for water, solar water system that is energy-saving, green and non-polluted has been widely used in residential buildings. The buildings’roofs are selected firstly as the position for heat collectors’installation in the design of integration of the solar water system and buildings. As for high-rise buildings, larger residential population determining more demand for heat collecting areas, the adoption of roof heat collecting system alone cannot meet the needs of all residents. Therefore the collectors need to be installed in the facade of buildings. Due to the location and spatial properties balcony, terrace combined solar hot water system is currently set up has become a high-rise residential solar water heating systems integration important trend.In this paper, through the data access scheme, field investigation and research on solar hot water system at home and abroad the status quo of the application and integration of residential building is the balcony design is analyzed, Combined with relevant norms Atlas, analyzes and summarizes the solar hot water system with integrated design of residential buildings balconies Problems.
