Parking is difficult to accelerate the development of modern urban civilizationderived a kind of "urban disease", to solve the urban problem of parking carved smallurgency, should cause the high degree of attention.To accelerate the pace of urban development, rational and effective utilization ofurban underground space has become an inevitable demand. Such as the subway,underground mall, underground parking and other underground utilities and the use ofspace, Effectively alleviate the urban traffic encountered in the process of urbandevelopment, urban environment and many other issues. Construction anddevelopment of large underground car park is a response to modern economic andsocial problem of parking the main countermeasures, Also for the protection of thetraffic flow, improve the urban environment, rich urban connotation provide a strongsupport.But at the same time, along with underground parking space scale continued toexpand, but Underground parking lack of interior design, the latter part of themanagement is not in place and many other issues lead to the following problemsarise: First, the owners can not find a parking space. More cars in the underground carpark makes the owner at the moment difficult to find a parking place, can not rapidlyreach the free parking spot, the second is the owner "difficult to find car".Due to lack of necessary information prompt and effective positioning referenceon underground parking, Motorists often can not find their own cars, leading to usersoften get lost, increase time searching cars, and waste owners life time. As a result,not only to the user caused some distress, but also affect the low utilization rate of theunderground car park.This paper aims to the low utilization rate for the analysis of urban undergroundparking, approaches and constructive, the combination of spatial cognition andwayfinding design, to explore the necessity and feasibility of the urban underground parking space design, in order to improve the urban underground parking rate andsolve the urban problem of parking.
