The double arch bridge is a unique bridge structure to China, which belongs to rare-reinforcement concrete structure. The double arch bridge has a practical economic structure and lightweight appearance which could be harmonious to surrounding environment. Save rolled steel and timber. Could use prefabricated construction, make sections as a whole, segmental waveform arches, light weight and easy to fabricate and installation. All above are easy to fulfill the demands of the development of the rural agricultural areas. Publication began in April17,1964, in the Dong Ting Wuxi County; a special bridge which is different from the traditional arch bridge services for agriculture coming out. Due to the overall form of bridge of horizontal and vertical are curvy, people called it as double curved arch bridge. Overcoming the defect of double arch bridge arch bridge in the general direction of the lateral under heavy loading easy bending deformation, while inheriting the advantages of ancient stone arch bridge. With the rapid development of Chinese economy, the traffic volume increased dramatically, and the vehiCLe load far beyond their design load level requirements of bridge, bridge is long-term affected by overload effect, and even becomes bridge in danger. Nowadays, in order to solve the potential safety hazard, many administrative departments make the double arch bridge as a key bridge structure of reinforcement project in transportation industry, and began to make this structure be inCLuded in the repair and reinforcement plan. Even some province governments have raised the opinion to remove double curved arch bridge, and transform into the beam bridge. According to statistics, China exists more than40,000double curved arch bridges, and destroy so many double arch bridges without any discriminating, which will greatly influence on the surrounding humanity, environment, and seriously harms the social and economic benefits as well as traffic and travel. If the analysis of bridge for this batch of specific historical period of disease induction, puts forward strengthening plan effective, targeted for reinforcement of double arch bridge, prolong the service life, continue to serve the society, the society will save a lot of manpower and material resources, and led to the continued use of this long-term preservation and the whole world is unique and beautiful shape bridge.The double curved arch bridge according to the different treatment in different ways, and not a mechanical one size fits all, abrasive to "destroy" the reconstruction of can bridge status identification and analysis, maintenance and transformation of retrofit scheme using efficiency, use as far as possible the use of the original bridge structure, improve the load grade of bridge structure and the traffic ability, and prolong the service life of the original. CoMParison of treatment methods commonly used to change the section forms such as increasing section and paste steel plate and fiber fib wrap composite materials such as integrity or enhance the transverse reinforcement method.The essay makes diseases analysis and reinforcement of double arch bridge as the research direction, and based on the researching and summarizing on technical detection and analysis of disease symptoms of double arch bridge, discuss about the internal force and structure of other bridge structures. The common diseases of the double curved arch bridge are CLassified, and the reasons for the disease were analyzed, summarizing common diseases of double curved arch bridge on the conventional strengthening methods and putting forward a comprehensive reinforcement method. Limited by essay length, the author focuses on double curvature arch strengthening method of upper structure. And with the stones River curved arch bridge as a typical engineering examples, essay focuses on the typical diseases of double curved arch bridge before and after reinforcement, modeling analysis, design and construction, enhancement of stability and bearing capacity after reinforcement, favorable economic benefit and social effect after reinforcement. The essay provides references to construction technique, layout of reinforcement and analysis of diseases for the maintaining and increasing of servicing life of double arch bridge.
