Power system voltage and reactive power optimization control of a relationship ensured the quality of voltage, met the needs of the reactive power and system voltage stability of the important issues.Traditional voltage reactive power optimization control strategy for power grid was in a specific load cases of reactive power optimization control, but it was in actual operation of the power grid, the load was always changing, so for a particular data of static reactive power, compensation could not meet the needs of the actual operation.This paper aimed at the Jining grid space truss structure and load characteristics of basic situation, the power system reactive power balance and power factor were calculated, and the detailed analysis of the current main problems of the power grid voltage regulator adjustable capacity means and solution.Second, considering the equipment action number constraints and the influence of the load change, period of time using the load frequency control strategy were to solve the reactive power equipment for restrictions.In determining the load interval optimization, the traditional method usually chose24hours a day in each period of time as the optimization of fixed time, due to the actual load is changing with time, in some period of time, load fluctuation amplitude was small, short duration, in this time period was optimized control, will cause the frequent movement of transformer, capacitor compensation devices, reduce the service life of the compensation device;In some period of time, load fluctuation was severe and the duration was longer, if not timely optimization, it could make the control effect lag, even the opposite effect. Therefore, choosing a reasonable period of time optimization method to decrease the number of frequent actions for compensation device control played a key role. Aiming at this problem, through continuous collected data part load of power grid Jining region, through the R/S analysis, finding out conformation to the fractal features of power load change according to the statistics to the history of the load sequence, to differentiate period of time, through the rolling average method to obtain load forecast trend component, after K-MEANS cluster computing, load trend of period of time.Finally, based on the interval load, the paper were studied the trend of substation reactive voltage optimization control strategy. A transformer substation and power grid in shandong Jining area was taken as an example, the simulation experiments, and verified the correctness and effectiveness of optimization strategy.The effective implementation of the strategy improved the effect of Jining grid reactive voltage control, effectively reduced the compensation device number, improve system voltage qualified rate and power.
