With the development of urban transport, if pedestrian crossing signals and intersections increasingly close coordination on the downstream intersection signal do not control.Vehicles likely to cause conflict, not only increasing the risk of pedestrians crossing the street, but also increased delays and parking the vehicle flow rate. Firstly, the pedestrian crossing lights were laid analysis, and then to the intersection and pedestrian crossing the intersection on the downstream traffic characteristics of pedestrians and motor vehicle traffic are analyzed, and finally on the basis of the pedestrian crossing signal coordination control method to classify studies. Proposed three Green Wave with coordination of programs and independent signal synchronization signals, analyzes their adaptation, and take Dalian Jiaotong University entrance pedestrian crossing signal for example, the use of vissim simulation software program to simulate experiments. Experimental results show that synchronous Green Wave with coordinated control program best suited Jiaotong University main gate pedestrian crossing the intersection. Finally, taking into account the dual goals of articles presented on the basis of pedestrian delay optimization model to verify the feasibility of the model.(1)Access to a large number of articles in the literature on the basis of pedestrian crossing lights were laid analysis summarizes the main principles of layout and layout spacing and layout examples. On the pedestrian crossing traffic characteristics were analyzed, including the pedestrian crossing behavior analysis, psychological analysis of waiting, long as the maximum acceptable waiting time.By analyzing the flow of traffic on the downstream intersection characteristics of motor vehicles, and motor vehicle road speed of the Yellow River, the downstream phase, vehicle characteristics, and by excessive traffic signal intersection street vehicle parking rates were studied.(2)Describes the different pedestrian crossing signal control methods, including no signal controlled junctions, timing control, pedestrian request control method, sensor control, coordinated control, pedestrian crossing control methods such as secondary. This paper mainly for coordinated control over the street, pedestrians crossing the street twice, and twice crossing the coordinated control of the key research analysis.(3)By analyzing the characteristics of pedestrian and vehicle traffic flow, Dalian Jiaotong University entrance pedestrian crossing intersections, for example, the analysis based on current traffic conditions and control methods of Chapter five. Proposed three coordinated control scheme:Green wave straight-coordinated control, φ-type separate formula crosswalk signal coordination control, Z-type independent crosswalk signal coordination control. And theoretical research on three scenarios proposed to adapt the scope of the analysis carried out. Use vissim simulation, delay by pedestrians and vehicles, parking rate comparison, the proposed scheme to verify the accuracy and reasonableness. Simulation results show that: when compared to uncoordinated control, coordinated control scheme can reduce the delay, which the Green Wave with a straight-through coordinated control program best suited Jiaotong University main gate pedestrian crossing the intersection.(4) Finaly, the pedestrian street downstream coordinated control for dual-objective optimization analysis, analysis of the two main quantitative indicators:the delay of pedestrians and vehicles delays, delays in the establishment of a bi-objective optimization model. Simulation results show that the dual-objective optimization model is superior to the status quo plan. Based on the characteristics of the Yellow River Road, the main road, it is recommended:at noon, when the peak pedestrian dual objective optimization, and other times using the vehicle of the Green Wave with straight-priority programs.
