As more and more attention to energy saving and environment protection, the vibrationenergy is common on the surrounding environment for collection, and converting themechanical vibration to electricity has become a hot topic of research.Vibration generatorconverts external mechanical vibration through some device into electricity byelectromagnetism, piezoelectricity intelligent materials and so on. So this kind of energyconservation and environmental protection of the micro vibration generator researches havevery good application value and broad prospects for development.Magnetic controlled shapememory alloy (MSMA) is a new type of functional material found in recent years and studies.Compared with other intelligent materials, MSMA has many properties: large deformationrate, easy to control, big power density, high dynamic response speed, and high efficiency ofelectromechanical energy conversion. Research shows that the intelligent material canachieve the collection and use of vibrational energy.This paper first analyzes the MSMA microstructure, physical properties and thedeformation mechanism. The paper analyzed the static and dynamic characteristics of theMSMA alloys systematically. In addition, the paper showed the relationship betweenmagnetic field, preloading and the deformation of the MSMA. And the inverse of the MSMAalloy properties, namely in the villari effect has carried on a preliminary experimentresearch.And the experiment verified the feasibility of MSMA used in the manufacture ofmicro vibration generator.Secondly, the structures of the MSMA vibration generator and the electromagnetism havebeen designed. And the mechanical structures of the generator, the size of the parts,processing requirement, material specifications and performance requirements have beenconfirmed. Motor electromagnetic properties related to the size, the data and materials are alldetermined by calculation, also calculate the electromagnetic properties.Finally, on the basis of MSMA vibration generator analysis of the principle, the paperdesigned the MSMA alloy magnetization model and MSMA vibration generator model, andcalculated the action of alloy magnetization under the magnetic field and the stress of MSMA, and found the quantitative mathematical relationship between vibration generator inductionelectromotive force V, magnetization and strain. In the simulation experiments of the MSMAgenerator’s characteristics, the applied stress, magnetic field, vibration frequency effect onthe output voltage have been respectively analyzed.The analysis and experimental resultsverified the production feasibility of micro vibration generator based on MSMA.And thepaper has significant theoretical direction for further researches of the MSMA vibrationgenerator and laid a certain theoretical basis for later experiment.
