Currently, formwork support used in high-rise buildings can be broadly divided into three forms:the floor type bracket, triangular truss cantilever steel frame and steel cantilever frame. Their disadvantages are the high risk, high construction cost, and longer construction period. In such a case, it is necessary to find a new support to overcome above disadvantages of support forms. A new type of cantilever supporting forms is discussed in this paper, named the cantilevered bailey frame with steel tubular formwork support with couplers. According to the mechanical analysis results, specific construction techniques are put forward to reduce the risk of construction safety and construction cost function. The main contents and conclusions are stated as follows:Firstly, the development of steel tubular formwork support with couplers is discussed and some shortcomings in these studies are pointed out;Secondly, according to the engineering background of bidirectional overhanging features, Bailey frame with fastener-style steel pipe falsework composite scaffold system superiority was studied, and combined support system design by analysis;Thirdly, the combined support system static characteristics are studied combined support system, and the dangerous bar and hazardous location is identified. Combined support system of instability is also identified in this paper;Finally, according to the calculation results, structural strengthening measures are proposed, Bailey frame with fastener style steel pipe scaffold combined support system construction technology is perfect.The results of this study have certain reference significance for the construction of similar engineering.
