Native element, by definition, is the resident in a long time and specific production, lifepractice and apprentice and gradually adapt naturally constituted. It is also the harmoniouscoexistence between nature of the crystal and human. It verifies the local life characteristicsand experiences. It is the continuation of an important carrier about the historical and culturalof heritage, highlighting local characteristics and the essence of the times. Art, from life thanlife,they are both complement each other. Undoubtedly, in artistic creation, utilization of localelements in the design show a very significant part.With the deepening of reform and opening-up, the landscape design is made make aspurt of progress of development, in this trend in the unition of eastword and western,western design a lot of everfount into one. Just as every coin has two sides, science is adouble-edged sword, in fulfilling their "positive energy", it also produces a affirmatorynegative influence. At present, the domestic " westernization" in the increasingly prominent,many landscape design directly copying foreign works without processing on the use of thepark to the domestic landscape design. The thought is more serious, at the same time alsocaused many are not optimistic about the situation. They didn’t play the role of local elements,the design of the park landscape is not well reflected the characteristics of the local. Throughthe protection of the local landscape and mining, maintaining the local ecology, advancingthe local culture, so as to guide the local landscape design in the right direction.In this paper background, it concises the level of developments at abroad, interprets forthe local elements and their related concepts, explores and refines the form of elements. Atthe same time, it analysis and detailes from the landscape design for the local elements andparks its application features, Eventually it comes to the design of the park landscape, usingnative elements has an important and far-reaching impact significance.Finally, taking Shenyang Hunnan Central Park as a case, the combination of theory andpractice, it explains the native landscape design element in the park’s role, makes the parklandscape well reflect the geographical characteristics.
