The urbanization process of historical development experience shows that when a country,city or region urbanization reaches 30%,it marks a rapid development period is coming.population and land scale of Central cities at all levels expanding gradually,especially the old town of big cities is more and more can not meet the needs of urban development in each aspect,and then many new districts emerge as the times require.They are distributed in the old town and make the space of the urban landscape from"single" to "dual-core" and "multi-core".The China's urban in the high speed development also faces ten population,environment and resource constraints.These issues require us to give full consideration to cope with Rapid urbanization problems in the construction of new district,choose reasonable space carrier and means.Experience and lessons learned from the new city construction of foreign,at the same time,combining with the local foundation to explore the suitable methods for native cities.The new district park obtained fast development in the urbanization process.However,some problems have also emerged,such as the lack of regional characteristics of landscape construction,the lack of humanity and sense of belonging,Vernacular landscape is derived from the natural environment and life of the country,connected with the local regional characteristic,represents the local spirit and particular cultural significance.And vernacular landscape has very important significance for the construction of new district park.On the basis of related research about new district park,this paper analyzes the problems and countermeasures in the development of the new district park,combining symbolization and vernacular landscapes,present the relationship between symbols,local cultural elements and emotion.This paper also emphasizes the important significance of vernacular landscape elements of the symbolization applied in a continuation of the regional context,study the concept and evolution of vernacular landscapes and symbols,analyze how to extract the vernacular landscape elements from the natural environment,humanities,technology and materials and combine with the symbolic way mapping to new district park landscape construction.Based on the domestic and foreign well-known landscape design study,such as Teardrop Park of New York city,St.Louis city centre park,city river renovation "Gu Du Gang" plots in Zhangjiagang China,and Dujiangyan square,Summarizes some of the more novel and well-reputed landscape design methods in practice for the local landscape in the symbolic use of new district park provides some new ideas.Finally,Xiangshui county east lake landscape planning in northern Jiangsu province for instance,by the way of the traditional symbol of creation in the environmental investigation,combing the context,symbol creation and public participation in order to provides a reference pattern for the symbol extraction and application of new vernacular landscape mode.Modern landscape construction can return to nature,return to life actually.
