Solar thermal technology which we should vigorously promote the technology infuture is the most promising solar energy application technology after the solar energyhot water technology. As our country intensifies the applications of renewable energyand establishes corresponding preferential policy, solar heating technology has broadapplication prospects. At present, there are a number of demonstration solar heatingprojects in our country, but the study of solar heating system in the northern cold areasis less. The purpose of this project is to study the feasibility of solar heating in thenorthern cold areas. In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of heating system,the paper focuses on the design of the control and display system of solar heating. Thisstudy provides the reference basis for the actual engineering application of solar heatingin cold area. The automatic control and display methods can be used in solar hot watersystem, central heating automatic monitoring and data statistics, etc.This paper mainly studies active solar heating system by building test bench inChangchun. First of all, we need to calculate heat load according to the weatherconditions of Changchun. Then we design the solar heating system from the followingaspects, such as the design of solar-thermal system, the heat storage system, heatingterminal, auxiliary heat equipment and so on. At the same time we design the controlsystem of the solar heating from several aspects, such as the function of the controlsystem, the control system hardware connection and software programming. At last, thecombination of PLC and Supervisory Control and Date Acquisition realize the remotemonitoring of solar heating system.According to the design of the solar heating system, we have built test bench andperformed the experiment study. We measured the related experimental data aboutsolar-thermal system, heating system, auxiliary heat system. Solar radiation and indoorand outdoor temperature is measured during the experiment. According to theexperimental date we analyzed heating system operation and the effect of solar heating.The results show that the solar heating system we designed in this paper runs safely andstably, solar heating in the northern cold areas has fully the feasibility.
