Research On Humanized Design Of Modern Tram Station

The era of automobile transportation is under continuous rapid development with which phenomena including resource consumption, environment pollution, traffic congestion etc. have been exacerbated. Tram has won more and more people’s preference for such advantages as being secure, environmental-friendly, convenient, and highly comfortable etc. Modern trams have gradually entered people’s lives and have played an increasingly important role. Design of supporting facilities for the modern trams as one of the important transportation methods has gradually become a key topic for research. The number of senior citizens and the disabled in our country is rising each year which forces our country to put more and more emphasis on humanized design. The State has published concerning laws and regulations to standardize and supervise the field of accessible humanized design.Now modern tram for its prominent advantages has achieved huge development in certain cities and played an important role in urban traffic. Incorporating the concept of humanized station design into modern tram is one of the signs of modernization. This paper focuses on the humanized design for modern tram stations. It analyzes and studies both the physiological aspect and psychological aspect of human needs, and fully demonstrates the service concept of humanized modern tram’s supporting facilities which include security, environmental protection, comfort and convenience in order to encourage and guide more people to more frequently utilize this kind of "green" transportation.
