Engine monitoring system is to ensure the reliability and functionality of theengine when it is not installed into the car in the simulation environment of thefactory.In the modern time,the engine monitoring system was almost designed by PIDcontrol scheme, so the adaptability and the immunity need to be enhanced. while inthe control technology it also wastes resources for adopting the one-to-one way thatused the serial port to transfer the sensor data.so it is meaningful to design acomprehensive system with the one-to-many control mode and intelligent controlalgorithm.For this reason,this paper design a engine monitoring system which usedthe ARM chip and based on the Neural Network PID control algorithm.First,this paper analysis the background and research status both home andabroad of the engine monitoring system,then explain the defect and trend of thedevelopment.On this basis, the primary coverage of this essay is expounded.Second,this paper expounded the frame of the engine monitoring system,andmake a simple description for the test index and test parameters,then establishmathematical model of the Engine-Dynamometer system which is the major part. Bycomparing with the PID control algorithm,make a Combination of PID and the NeuralNetwork control algorithm to improve the adaptability and immunity with verificationof MATLAB.Furthermore,this article accomplish the hardware of the engine monitoringsystem,which is include the peripheral circuit of the central controller,the sensoracquisition circuit that contain the torsion,speed,pressure and temperature,acceleratorexecutor drive circuit and electric eddy current dynamometer drive circuit.At last,this article accomplish the software of the engine monitoring system,respectively including the embedded software and PC software.The embeddedsoftware adopts the embedded Linux operating system,and this paper introduces theembedded Linux operating system migration, driver design and application ofcompiling module.The PC software adopt the.NET design scheme,which is consist ofcommunication module, database module and the business processing module.Final,make a simple explanation of the graphical interface for the two parts.
