The greenhouse effect, ozone depletion, energy shortage are three serious problems in the process of industrialization. On the one hand, the development of industrial technology causes a large amount of energy consumption, on the other hand, human must rely on the development of science and technology to solve the energy problem.Air conditioner has the great potential in energy saving. But it must be under the condition of without sacrificing indoor personnel’s comfort to reduce energy consumption. Therefore, this paper adopts the PMV comfort index and uses ARM9 embedded system as the design platform to design indoor comfort control device hardware circuit and software development process in research of thermal comfort theory and control strategy. This paper achieves the goal of the maximum energy saving on the premise of guaranteeing the indoor thermal comfort and implements remote monitoring of indoor environment parameters on the cloud platform. In this paper, the research mainly has several aspects:The residential indoor comfort control device and its development situation have been introduced, and the device system of the working principle has been analyzed. This paper has put forward overall design scheme of indoor comfort control device, and designed each module of the control device.Research on indoor comfort control strategy. The thermal comfort index of software measurement model and air conditioning energy consumption model have been built based on HCMAC (Hyper ball Cerebellar Model Articulation Controller) neural network. The setting values of dynamic comfort optimal control strategies in thermal environment have been got based on multi-objective particle swarm optimization.Design the indoor wireless sensor network node. The node with the environment parameter acquisition sensors, SPI communication interface, the RS-485 communication interface and wireless communication interface adopts Atmegal28L of Atmel company as main control chip. Based on the ZigBee protocol the wireless sensor network has been constructed. It is convenient to measure and control indoor environment parameters, such as temperature, humidity, light.Based on Linux operating system master controller has been developed. This paper has completed the Linux kernel configuration and system transplantation. Use Qt/Embedded Designer tool to develop good human-computer interaction interface and use database that developed by embedded SQLite to realize the historical data query.This paper has designed the indoor comfort monitoring platform and realized connection between the comfort control device for indoor environment and public energy cloud platform. The data which be collected to the indoor environment is uploaded to the cloud platform through gateway. Last, this paper realizes remote monitoring of indoor environment.Summarizes the content of the research and analyse the deficiency of the system. Last, the improvement to the system is discussed.
