In order to adapt to the need for clean vacuum environment of the production of some high-tech products and special applications, oil-free scroll vacuum pump becomes a kind of high-tech products with rapid development speed in recent years. As a new type of positive-displacement pumps, compared with other forms of vacuum pump, which has an unique advantage in the structure, the efficiency, reliability, vibration and environmental protection, oil-free scroll vacuum pump has become widely accepted since appeared on the market. Given the research on the oil-free scroll vacuum pump internal flow field is rare and providing the necessary technical support for processing, this text provides some thoughts and researches on the problems that still exist in the oil-free scroll vacuum pump internal flow field.The pumping process of oil-free scroll vacuum pump depends on the changes of its volume, which is completed through the compression chamber form by the movements wraps. Compression of the flow field in the cavity, such as the velocity field, pressure field is very complex, studying its changes are of practical significance to explore the process of oil-free scroll vacuum pump and improve their work efficiency and reliability In this paper, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software FLUENT is used to simulate the compression chamber of the oil-free scroll vacuum pump from a new perspective to understand and master the compression cavity flow field conditions.During the study, the main components of the vacuum pump is modeled in UG6.0and divided into a number of crescent-shaped compression chambers at different angles of the two-dimensional diagrams, which are made for control volume analysis. Combined the characteristics of the vacuum pump compression chamber, we create a series of governing equations, including the basic equations of the gas flow pattern developed a relatively complete mature mathematical model of viscous fluid, and the mathematical model assumption of reasonable simplification and conditions.Last, simulation of the vacuum pump the internal flow field is simulated with use of FLUENT software, we can draw the distribution of oil-free scroll vacuum pump internal flow field, oil-free scroll vacuum pump flow field velocity field, pressure field. This will optimize the design of the oil-free scroll vacuum pump to provide a reference, and further description of the CFD method in the study of oil-free scroll vacuum pump internal flow field simulation feasibility.
