With the continuous development of city size, the metro train has become an important transport tool bearing the most of passengers in the city. Therefore the analysis of train operation process gradually become important, the main content of the train operation process is the force of the train operation process, which will be summarized the operation law of trains on this line combining with running test and practical operating experiences, then it will be summed up for the theory for the operation process research foundation of the other metro lines in the future. The train operation process involves the train traction tonnage calculation, the energy consumption of train operation, train speed, train travel time, the number of train operation, the running line extension, the existing equipment update, the improvement of train traction curve, the train operating sequence optimization, the improvement of train braking force curve. The train operation process analysis is relation to the calculation and improvement of transport capacity, cost, energy consumption and others aspects, therefore, the research of metro train operation process has very important significance for the optimization of train control strategies and conditions.This paper mainly discusses the operation energy consumption model and the metro train saving energy operation optimization problem of Nanjing metro line one. Firstly, it introduces the train operation, the influence factors, the traffic characteristics of metro train, metro train force and traction strategy etc. between the metro train sites. Secondly, according to the operation line of Nanjing metro line one, consider the complicated situation of running line, analyse the characters of train force, establish single point train operation model, establish the model of energy consumption using the empirical formula of train operation process, verify the energy consumption model with the actual data that is acquired by the metro train vehicle traveling data recorder, the validation results show that there is a large error in the energy consumption model, which follows the empirical formula. Thirdly, according to the force analysis of train operation process, re-determine the calculation formula coefficient that is applicable to Nanjing metro line one to establish the accurate energy model. We can determine the operation energy consumption with setting traffic information and operation curve. Finally, this paper applies genetic algorithm NSGA2to the Nanjing metro line one optimization, which includes gene coding designed, individual designed, population generated, then it compares and analyses the actual energy consumption and operating conditions.In conclusion, this paper is based on Nanjing Metro Line one, establish the energy consumption model and study the optimization of operation conditions of running process to do some research for optimizing metro train running process.
