As the highlight of the problem of land resources, in order to meet the needs of people living and transportation,construction and transportation turn to the underground,so,urban subway emerged. Construction of tunnels and underground exploitation works began develop rapidly.Shield method is the most commonly useful methods of tunneling. This article describes the development of domestic and foreign Shield subway. Especially in China, tunnels side through the reservoir inevitably, due to our complex and varied terrain, how to ensure the quality of the construction process, safety has become an important subway tunnel construction technology.The article describes how to choice shield mechanical rightly according to the geological and hydrological condition. Then, a more detailed discussion of the shield machine lifting programs produced, including the choice of hoisting machinery, mechanical lifting equipment calculations, foundation bearing capacity calculations, hardened ground calculations, technical issues lug equipment testing, and so on. Then, discusses various measures in the composite shield machine construction formations, as well as monitoring and environmental control method of construction. Construction Monitoring is an important guarantee for safe and smooth shield, environmental control measures are used to prevent the construction of shield damage to building structures on the ground and underground pipelines. In addition, discusses the self-examination and ATC workflow of shield machine,in the tunnel which surrounding rock, good mechanical properties, stable and strong.The most important thing is to wear the control of reservoir side shield discussed technical. According to the geological and hydrological conditions near the reservoir, to develop a series of measures to shield the side wear reservoir. Before side wear, make comprehensive preparation, when wearing, ensure that the shield machine conduct boring orderly and balanced; reinforcing measures should be taken after shield machine through the reservoir.Finally, since the shield side wear reservoir, making tunnel waterproofing become more important, the paper elaborated shield tunnel waterproofing measures, including segment waterproof, waterproof joints between segments, segment waterproof out of the hole, waterproof tunnel interface, waterproof of contact channel and other effective measures.
