The Multi-sensor Data Fusion System of Airport Surface is an integral part of an overall ATC system and forms a vital link in enroute to enroute traffic management. The data fusion system is modular and scalable, and can be tailored to individual requirements and upgraded at a later date to always provide an optimum, cost-effective solution for airport operators, Safety regulator or airlines.At the moment, airport surface surveillance radar, automatic dependent surveillance broadcast (ads-b) equipment, multipoint positioning system (MLAT) is the main sensors of the aircraft and vehicle for civil aviation airport ground activities, monitoring can be automatic enrollment and the airport surface moving target tracking, and provide real-time, accurate and comprehensive airport traffic information to the airport surface data fusion system.The main research content of this article is divided into the following three parts, the author’s main work content is focused on the second and third parts:First of all, the advanced target tracking filters which called Interacting Multiple Model filters is used for track continuation in combination with Joint Probabilistic Data Association (JPDA) for measurement-to-track correlation. By using appropriate target models, the data fusion system is even able to track vessels and aircraft at the same time.Secondly, followed by multi-sensor data fusion processing airport scene information, this paper analyzed the runway intrusion alarm rules, to assess the airport traffic scenes, determining whether the runway invasion occurs, and generated the corresponding warning and alarm. This paper Categorized the aircraft track, and classified the alarm rules under different runway classification, determined the alarm parameters.At the end, on the basis of the above theory, this paper analyzed the airport surface’s different alarm rules of multi-sensor data, and applied to the airport surface data fusion system, and finally built a based on A-SMGCS airport surface multi-sensor fusion system, the system function was tested and validated.
