With the rapid development of China’s civil aviation industry,the airport throughput ofpassenger and freight transport increases rapidly.More and more airport surface moving targetslead to the congestion,which results in doubled growth of the possibility of collision betweenaircrafts and vehicles.Therefore,how to reduce the collision probability so as to improve thesurface running efficiency becomes the top prority.To improve the atomatic level of airportsurveillance is one way to solve this problem.This paper designs a surveillance display system based on the ADS-B provides surveillancedata,with the link of high speed data link as information transmission bridge,VC and MapX MapControl as software platform to build the geographical information display,combined withelectronic map technology, GPS positioning technology, database technology and path planningalgorithm to achieve a set of monitoring, scheduling, route planning, command and managementof the airport terminal area surveillance.The main work include:(1)Depth study of the composition and working principles of the airport surface terminalmonitoring system, propose the overall structure of this system with the analysis of the geographicinformation system (GIS) component technology, ADS-B technology and GPS technology.(2)Depth analysis and design the key technologies of real-time monitoring data analysis, datastorage, map matching and path planning.(3)Design and develop the monitoring terminal display system based on the requirements ofthe functions.Firstly, get the information of airport taxiway network and nodes withMapInfo.Secondly, build the topological structure of taxiway network.Finally, build the systemplatform combine with VC and MapX to achieve the functions of calling electrical map and theGIS functional such as zoom in, zoom out, pan, layer control, Hawkeye, etc.(4) Develop the real-time display system with the paresed monitoring data, combine with SQLSever database and ADO database access technology to store data for historyical track playback.(5)Depth study of improved Dijkstra algorithm, introduce taxiing rules and operating rules tocalculate none conflict taxiing path based on the calculated fixed shortest path.Achieve the noneconflict path calculate function with the system software platform.
