| With the rapid development of global industry, the bulk stock such as the ore, coal transport volume was larger, and stacker and reclaimer has play a key role in these bulk stocks in loading and unloading. The double-portal reclaiming is a new type of structure,it can at the same time and the reclaim of two different kinds of coal material, not only the abolition of the downstreammixing coal storage bunker, but also greatly improves the efficiency of the transport of coal, so attention.This paper, based on the control system of the double-portal stacker/reclaimer featuring top stacking and side reclaiming operation, firstly introduces the application prospect and the working procedure of this kind of stacker/reclaimer, then elaborates the detailed design of the hardware and software to be used in the control system, and finally verifies the design through the commissioning work at the site, to meet the user’s requirement.Through the research on the production flow process and control mode of double-portal stacker/reclaimer featuring top stacking and side reclaiming operation, a kind of control system of such stacker/reclaimer has been developed based on the Rockwell three-layer network technology. In this developed system, programmable controller (PLC) is used as the control core to replace the logic control of the conventional relay, the on-site bus is used as the communication network to connect the site equipment and the automation system and the fiber-optic medium is used to replace the communication cables, which produces a more clear and intelligent hierarchy of the whole system, thus reducing the cost on equipment and laying the cables. Furthermore, it is also provided with VVVF control system, high-precision detectors and reliable network communication devices, improving the response speed and the safety of the system control. The embedded industrial television monitoring system and coal inventory system has made the equipment more safe, rational and intelligent. The feasibility and completeness of the control system has been verified through the commissioning and test at the site. |
