Power transformer is one of the most important equipment of electrical power system, the fault of power transformer not only affects the transmission capacity of the power system, and may even cause massive blackouts of power system, brings with significant losses to the power system and the national economy. For a long time, the power system mainly uses Time Based Maintenance, this will not only cause a lot of waste of human and material resources, but also increase the frequency and duration of power transformer maintenance, and new risks may increase during maintenance, reducing supply reliability. Condition Maintenance is base on the operating state of transformer, establish a preventive maintenance, with the continuous development of Condition Maintenance technology, Condition Maintenance will become the inevitable trend of the maintenance way of power transformer.In this essay, take the66kV power transformers of dispatch control center of Dalian Power Supply Company as the research object. Firstly, filtrate the source of the condition information of power transformer, select the five most representative evaluation indexes, establish the condition assessment index system of transformer, and then use fuzzy AHP to determine the weight of each index both from qualitative and quantitative angles. Secondly, establish the classification level of the transformer, and divide them into five levels, determine the white functions of all the levels, then using Gray Clustering analysis to analyze the level of transformer. Finally, drafted appropriating maintenance programs of power transformer according to the actual situation, and determine the decision-making objectives, as the power system is a complex system, select six decision-making objectives both from technical and economical point of views, using Gray Correlation decision to evaluate all the decision-making objectives and then choose the best maintenance plan.Through a case study, using Gray Clustering Analysis to analyze the level of the power transformer is "healthy", and using Gray Correlation analysis to select the maintenance plan is "Deferred maintenance". They have the same conclusion, means that the study of this essay has some practical value.The study of this essay can reduce the operating costs of the power system, improve economy and security of the power system, and improve the level of safety and reliability of the equipment; it also has an important guiding significance for the electric power enterprise device management.
