Equipment is an important manufacturing resource of enterprises, scientific and reasonable equipment management can greatly improve the enterprise production efficiency, reduce production costs, as well as enhance the competitiveness of enterprise. Equipment maintenance issues is the core content of equipment management, reliability-centered maintenance is an important way to reduce equipment failure rates and maintenance costs. On the basis of borrowing existing research results of equipment maintenance, the thesis further discusses the problems of equipment maintenance on Reliability Centered Maintenance(RCM).First of all, an evaluation model of equipment importance based on reliability was established, using the method which combined with fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and analytic hierarchy process. Then the corresponding maintenance mode decision for equipment was made, according to equipment importance evaluation results and RCM logic diagram, and gave the process of maintenance decision. Secondly, taking the equipment which used condition based maintenance as the research object, the thesis comprehensively analyzed the factor of cost in maintenance process, then on the foundation of optimizing the relevant variables in the model and minimizing the maintenance cost rate, reliability-centered maintenance mathematical model was built. Combined with examples, the optimal equipment reliability threshold and preventive maintenance cycles are obtained, which the model were solved by improved genetic algorithm, as the best maintenance strategy of equipment. Finally, taking the gearbox assembly line MES project of a vehicle DCT factory, the equipment management system based-on RCM was constructed, and the system has been successfully applied in the actual production process.The research work of this thesis, which is the important part of RCM, can reduce the enterprise equipment maintenance cost, improve maintenance efficiency and provide powerful support for realizing the equipment management informationization.
