| Following the rapid increasing of economy and the improvement of theenvironment, there are more transmission lines are built and birds’ active near thetransmission corridor increasingly. The number of Transmission line fault caused bybird accounts for the top three after thunder and external damage in china. It means alot to the stability of the power system to find an efficiency way to drive the birdsaway from the transmission corridor. It provides a new system of birds driving withcomplex method based on vertical axis wind turbine also known as VAWT, thesystem can lower the adaptability of the birds and achieve an ideal birds drivingeffect.First, it provides a new complex birds driving method based on ultrasonic waveand light methods by summarizing and analyzing the general methods. Ultrasonicwave in different frequency can be obtained by using different ultrasonic speaker.The frequency and regular pattern vary by the control of software. The flash style ofthe LED can also be controlled by the software. This method can lower theadaptability of the birds as much as possible. It is effective no matter day or night.Some key circuits are also designed. Second, It provides a new system of birdsdriving with complex method by combining the complex method and VAWT. Thewhole system can whirl together. The birds driving device is installed on the blade ofVAWT, and the control module is installed on the rotator. The structure and circuit ofthe system are designed. A special VAWT is designed. The machine can be used as agenerator as well as a motor which can keep the whole system whirl no matter thewind condition. In the end, it provides a control strategy which can ensure the systemwhirl all the time. This control strategy is verified by the use of MATLAB.The birds driving system provided is a whole system consist of birds drivingpart, VAWT and control part. It has an ideal birds driving effect as well as a largearrangement. This system require no external power supply. It provides a strong support to the stability of the power system. |
