As an effective complement to power grid, Micro-grid is a new energy supply and self-control system composed of distributed energy resources, energy storage, load, power electronic equipment, monitoring device and protective apparatus. It can operate in both grid-connected and islanded modes flexibly. The improvement of micro-gird technology can improve the utility of distributed energy, power supply reliability and quality of electric energy. The micro-grid will turn into islanded mode and provide power energy continuously when fault occurs, as the important basis for initial investment and the guarantee of reliable, economic operation in micro-grid islanded mode, the optimal energy allocation has great research value. This article focused on dynamic optimal energy allocation and energy management system (EMS) in islanded mode micro-grid. The main work is organized as follows:Firstly, taking a micro-grid with wind/photovoltaic/diesel engine/energy storage for example, the generated power and fault probability modes of the component units are established by Monte Carlo simulation (MCS) based on the characteristics of micro power.Secondly, taking the lowest economic cost and the highest power supply reliability as optimization targets, economy and reliability evaluation indexes are established. The multi-target optimization is transformed into the single target integrated optimization problem based on the importance weight of each optimization target set by Binary Contrast Weighting method and the optimal energy allocation mode is established considered specific constraints. Based on this, the procedures of optimal energy allocation by adaptive Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) are proposed.Thirdly, simulating under different operation strategy, maximum capacity of energy storage, rated capacity of diesel engine and target weight, the impact on micro-grid of energy allocation and the practical suggestions for islanded mode micro-grid are analyzed based on the simulation results.Finally, the research status of micro-grid energy management system is summarized which is the basis of basic function definition, system architecture construction and control mode research of the energy management system.
