Lithium anode material graphite is the key process to ensure the lithium battery performance, its production process management and control crucial influence the quality of graphite anode material. At present, a well-known domestic company’s graphitiztion product mainly rely on manual record the operating parameters, main supply power equipment adjust also rely on manual. This lead to lack online monitoring points, equipments risk more, information was incomplete, difficult to process optimization, manual control, energy waste and other production problems. In order to solve these production problems, this paper designs a real-time monitoring and control system for all process of the production, and the system is able to adjust the main power supply equipment automatic, the system can achieve graphitization data of the whole process and real-time browsing, real-time curve analysis, historical data analysis, historical data storage and automatic track power supply transformer. Technicians can grasp the factors affecting the quality of graphitization. By analyzing these data, and then adjust the control strategy, modify the process parameters.This paper is based on a project which is cooperative with a new material company. Through research graphite production process, the characteristics of the field bus technology, data acquisition and processing technology, configuration technology. Design a graphitization process control system based on the RS485bus and configuration technology. Analyze the advantages of RS485bus in the establishment of graphite production control system. The main research work completed as the followings:1) Set up a RS485bus network based on Modbus protocol.2) Establish a measurement and control subsystem for the power supply.3) Design temperature data acquisition module, high voltage transformer data acquisition modules, high power rectifier equipment data acquisition module, transformers gear automatic adjustment module.4) Propose a good algorithm that can automatically adjust the transmission power real-time according to the setting of the power curve.5) The managers’ pc and the master node group into Ethernet, so managers can browse real-time data anytime at anywhere.Monitoring and control system designed in this paper for a graphite production company has already ran more than a year, more than120heats, all the products are qualified. The results demonstrate the system presented here for graphitization production process control is feasible. It has a low cost, easy implementation, hardware and software is simple, easy to expand, easy to learn and reliability, good benefits for improving the quality of our products. Business Statistics average power than the original system heats up to6%lower, the improvement of automation saves a lot of manpower and resources, resulting in significant economic benefits.
