In order to obtain more accurate and reliable information of the observed object, multi-sensor data fusion technology under complex background has been widely used. VTS (Vessel Traffic Services) is an engineering application model which depends on the technology. The key technology of VTS is multi-target tracking and multi-sensor data fusion. The article focuses on the track association based on the multi-target tracking track. The sensors in VTS system mainly have radar, AIS (automatic identification system), VHF, CCTV etc. Therefore, the main thesis of track association starts between radar and radar, radar and AIS.Aim at VTS system for multi-sensor data fusion techniques may be used, this paper does the following tasks:(1) Research for VTS composition and working principle, grasp structure and analytic method of AIS signal.(2) The paper uses the Nearest neighbor heuristic rules and Gauss Kruger algorithm to solve the situation that different kinds of sensors have different coordinate systems and different sensors have different information updating time.(3) Focuses on the MK_NN algorithm of statistics class and comprehensive function algorithm of fuzzy class, and through simulation to analyze the effect of the association of two algorithms.(4) On the basis of the existing algorithms for the threshold is proposed to improve the adaptive threshold track association algorithm to verify the effectiveness of adaptive threshold track for track association algorithm through simulation comparison.
