Sandstorm is a major environmental disaster in northern,China Central Africa, North America, Australia,and Central Asia is a major area occurred, Its large span, lightweight construction building influence cannot be ignored, Sand flow load is focused on building the structural design considerations, More and moreattention on the impact of the flow sand around the building. However, the movement of sand fluid is verycomplex form, Effect of flow around a bluff body building is very complex. China’s existing research onsandstorm fluid of a late start,the existing research is very immature, lack of systematic theoretical system.Therefore, the use of numerical simulation study sand flow around the building has gradually become anew hotspot sand field.Based on the essential feature of fluid, the fluid analytical method is studied. By studying the essentialcharacteristic of fluid movement, the article researches the impact on buildings by the method of numericalsimulation. Based on two-fluid two-phase flow model, the governing equations of multi phase are studied.By using Fluent and Gambit, the numerical simulation experiment is conducted. The simulation result isshowed with cloud maps and isopiestic lines. In addition, fixing probing position are set up for dataacquisition to compare with the date of wind tunnel testing. The simulation result could provide evidencefor controlling dest storms and designing buildings. The specific work of this article shows as follows:1) Study the essential features of multiphase-fluid flow and the two-fluid two-phase flow model,deduce the governing equations, and build a mathematical mode.2) Build physical models, divide unstructured mesh, and delimit the boundary conditions for thecomputational domain. By using UDF, wind speeds are defined to be more close to the actual values. Set upprobing position to monitor their pressure to compared with the date of wind tunnel testing. Calculate effectof sand flow velocity of the building, And analyze the data collected by wind tunnel tests. Tested inaccordance with the particle trajectory simulation environment, Prediction sand accumulation effect.3) The simulation result is showed with cloud maps、isopiestic lines and the pressure lines of monitorpoints. The simulations can provide security for designing buildings.
