Now with the development of high-energy wind turbine, the load calculation and performanceanalysis problem become more prominent. Load calculation as the groundwork for wind turbinedesign process is the most crucial basic work provides the reference for the optimization of design,analysis and calculation of wind turbine. And also conducts a turbine performance simulation andanalysis on3MW variable speed wind turbine. The main research content is as follows:First of all, based on GH-Bladed software, proceed to parametric modeling of wind turbines.According to the guideline for GL2010, sets up normal and extreme wind conditions wind andloads it into the design of the various load conditions to calculate the static conduction and simulatedynamic conduction. The paper can get the simulation results of the extreme load and fatigue loadafter batch processing. Through the analysis and calculation for the optimization design of windturbine follow-up provide guidance.Based on the theory of improved blade element momentum theory, with blades under differentinstallation angle of the wind turbine as the research object, this paper analyzes the bladeinstallation error of wind turbine blade airfoil aerodynamic performance, power and annual energyproduction and the blade torque. And also conducts a turbine performance simulation and analysis.Then, the lead-lag load and the flapping load are calculated and analyzed under three conditions:with only wind shear, only the tower shadow and without consideration of the wind shear and thetower shadow.Appling super-element and parametric parts build high accuracy wind turbine model of3MWbased on Samcef for Wind Turbines (SWT). Modal analysis and dynamic load calculation for theoverall structure of wind turbine are an important factor in the stable operation, because thevibration characteristics of wind turbine and the carrying capacity are more complex. Modalanalysis about the overall structure of the wind turbine can get the inherent frequencies and modeshapes, and this paper analyzes dynamic load of bearing, the junction between gear boxes andbedplate under rated turbulent wind velocity.
