Research of pipeline leakage flow distribution and pipeline plugging technology haveimportant significance to the pipeline leak detection technology, the development of pipelineplugging technology, and effectively reduce economic losses, environmental pollution andpeople’s life and property losses caused by pipeline leakage.According to the intellectuals and procedures of computational fluid mechanics (CFD),firstly, the analysis of the influence factors of flow characteristics ware been finished throughestablishment of the equations consisted of Bernoulli equation and continuity equation.Analysis showed that the leak area, the shape of leakage hole, pipeline transportation velocityand static pressure difference between inside and outside of pipeline are the influence factorsof pipeline the leakage flow characteristics. Through the use of FLENT software on the factorsaffecting the value of single change pipeline leakage flow model based on fluid dynamicssimulation, simulation results show the various factors effect on pipeline leakage flow rule andthe leakage flow characteristics.The situations of seal diameter equal to pipe diameter ware been encountered when plugthe leakage pipeline, for example, orificium leakage plugging, the truncated pipeline plugging,pipe closing experiment etc. In view of this situation, a pipe mouth leakage plugging devicewarebeen designed.The overall design scheme, sealingprinciple,work flowandoverall designof important components ware described. The nonlinear finite element analysis of two rubberair bags having different seal structure had been completed through using SOLIDWORKSSIMULATION, the analysis of contact stress distribution on the interface and influence law ofexpansion on sealing performance had completed.
