The flying velocity of projectile is an important parameter, it is an important indicatorto measure gun characteristics, ammunition characteristics and ballistic characteristics. light-screen target is one of method to measure the flying velocity of the projectile. The purpose ofthis paper is to design a laser-screen target velocity measuring system which meet the existingrange using laser, study its factors in the testing process.By analyzing the working principle of the light-screen target, put forward the wholedesign scheme of array laser target. the scheme used dot array laser as the emissive source andtwo columns of diode as the receiving device, achieved the two-way signal reception at thesame time; By analyzing the problem of photoelectric conversion circuit with the existinglight screen target which each receiving device influence each other, the photoelectricconversion circuit and signal processing circuit were designed; Aiming at the problem whichconventional light screen target are susceptible to interference, proposed the combiningmethod of the pulse width setting threshold and the pulse width to match, designedanti-interference module based on CPLD; The timer display circuit has designed,whosemeasurement and display accuracy can reach0.1us.The influence of load resistance, illumination distance, illumination angle and angle ofemission on received signals were analyzed. While the pellet passed through the device, theideal mathematical model was established based on the actual situation of receivingcomponent, and from which the relative error under different dropout voltage of timing wasobtained to analyze the uniformity of the screen on the whole velocity-measuring system.Through field experiment examined the veracity and reliability of the design system, andcompared with the coil target and the sky target. The experimental results show that the system has a good stability, a high reliability, a high precision, etc.
