Along with the rapid development of the national economy, the national standard of living has improved significantly and vehicles become an indispensable part of people’s daily life. Meanwhile, with the number of vehicles increasing rapidly, people have more high-level requirements on vehicle safety, real-time positioning of multiple moving targets and vehicle tracking and monitoring. Thus, this paper implements a vehicle monitoring system to realize the goal of managing vehicles and locating and tracking vehicles.Over these years, high developments of Internet technology, GPS positioning technology and Web development technologies provide excellent conditions for the implementation of vehicle monitoring system. At present, there are already some simple vehicle management systems on markets. However, the number of business entities, such as vehicle and terminal are always growing with high speed over time. Moreover, the information of vehicle location accumulates in large scale over a long period. All these situations will bring an overwhelmed pressure on database which cause slow query and poor user’s manipulation experience. This paper comprehensively analyzed the most popular technology about the memory cache, mainly including working principles, the strategy of memory management and algorithm of distributed deployment. And then, this paper on this basis proposes a solution that a memory buffer system was applied to vehicle monitoring system. In addition, with full consideration of the characteristics of vehicle monitoring system data and business rules, business data which is read frequently is stored in the memory cache system, this scheme accomplishes the goal of building and designing a good performance of vehicle management system.This paper firstly studies and analyzes two kinds of commonly used memory cache and introduces their working principles, characteristics of memory management strategy. In addition, on the basis of the characteristics of the current system, memcached is selected as the key technology. Secondly, according to the characteristics of business data in vehicle monitoring system, this paper builds and designs the database logical structure and physical structure as well as the rules of data stored in memcached. Thirdly, this paper describes principles and framework of system combined with memcached. And then, this paper implements the business process design of function modules in vehicle monitoring system which consists of unified resource center, unified authorization center and enterprise monitoring platform. Finally, this paper applies memcached into vehicle monitoring system and introduces the deployment of memcached in vehicle monitoring system. Besides, this paper tests and analyses the benefits of the in-memory cache on the basis of vehicle monitoring system combined with memcached. The experimental results show that the memory cache system can improve the system response speed, optimize the overall performance of system.
