Main Memory Database System(MMDBS) is the hybrid of Real-Time System and Database System. At present, MMDBS is widely used in many application domains such as the aviation, military, telecommunication, electric power and industry control, etc. Many of this application domains are inherently distributed. As a result, Distributed Main Memory Database System(DMMDBS) has become a new research spot.Based on the analysis of current study status of DMMDBS, this dissertation focuses on the design and implemention of the DMMDBS for Supervisory and Control System in Power Systems. It's contents and study results are composed of the following parts:1. Design the message module between the DMMDBS, solve the problem of maintaining the data consistency in distributed environment by updating the host copy through message queue;2. Give a data distributing model based on grouping the key nodes of the Supervisory and Control System;3. Design and implement OPC(OLE for Process Control) interface for the DMMDBS;4. Design active mechanism in distributed environment and implement active alert function in Supervisory and Control System in power system by using event notice partem which is loose coupling.
