Due to the growing crisis in world energy, energy-savings, emissions reduction and low carbon economy have become the development strategy throughout the world. As the construction industry accounts for a high proportion of GDP, building energy conservation is a global concern, therefore, new green building materials have become an international research hotspots. However, the total energy consumption of building construction has been close to40%of the total social energy consumption, the traditional building materials which are widely denounced such as solid clay brick and lime-sand brick are highly energy-consumption, large polluter and inefficient in energy saving. The development of green building materials which are environment-friendly, multi-functional and good energy-saving has become an urgent demand in building construction market.A new building material called foam concrete functional building materials is a mixture of cement paste, all kinds of additives and foams, in the process of production, without sintering and vapor pressure, their energy consumption is low, owing to their multi-functional characteristics of light-weight, heat-insulating, flame retardant, sawing nails and sound absorbing, in recent years, they have been widely concerned and studied, moreover, they have come into use. But now, the product in the market generally has many problems such as insufficient strength, the preparation process, single function and difficulty in scale production, which can not fully meet the needs of application in the construction market.In this article, as for the above-mentioned problem, with the basic formula and technology of foam concrete, by the chemical and physical foaming method, the preparation, technology and the of basic performance of the prepared foam concrete have been comprehensively studied. The test results show that:by optimizing the formula, chemical foaming method and advanced technology, low-density (less than600kg/m) foam concrete has been prepared, the product has good insulation performance, its thermal conductivity ranged from0.041to0.075W/(M·K); by optimizing the formula, chemical foaming method, advanced technology and solar maintenance method, high-density (more than600kg/m3) foam concrete has been prepared, the advantages of the product are high compression strength and low water absorption, the compression strength is3.5~7.0MPa for28days and the water absorption rate is less than10%, its thermal conductivity ranged from0.090to0.120W/(M·K).This article investigated the process control mechanism of chemical foaming and mastered the best control methods of the foaming agent and foaming time effectively. We innovated the promotion of the products and curing method through the investigation of the solar energy curing of the physical foaming method, this new technology is more suitable in the tropical and sunny areas.This article functional transformed the form concrete wall insulation plate with innovation and prepared the concrete functional construction materials of the electromagnetic wave absorbing foam. The investigation showed that when the new products within limits of2-4GHz, the absorption index of single layer absorbing plate reaches65%under-10dB width, and the absorption index of double layer absorbing plate reaches100%under-10dB width. This new products had a wide application in the S-band electromagnetic pollution control in the buildings and WLAN anti-electromagnetic interference.This new functional foaming concrete green construction materials is suitable in the in terior area, what is more, since the preferable properties of insulation and water proofing, it is more suitable for application in tropical island area. We hope promoting the products to market quickly through the further industrialization studies.
