| The shortage of water resources is the main factor which limits the development of Beijing. It’s important to Improve the development and use of new water resources. With the development of urbanization, urban flooding is becoming more serious in Beijing. It has been an important issue in urban planning to reduce the urban flooding in flood season, and use stormwater as new water resources.The main method of water treatment in Beijing is relying on the city drainage pipe network, ignoring the effect of reduce stormwater and use of stormwater. Residential area is the important part of Beijing, the improvement of stormwater treatment in residential is important for the development of city, while the contact is not close enough between residential district planning and stormwater treatment. Through the establishment of site planning based on the stormwater treatment, optimize the spatial layout of residential areas and enhance the efficiency of the stormwater facilities, the use of stormwater resources in residential area will be significantly improved.According to the summary of experience of stormwater treatment and the feature of hydrological cycle in city, it will significantly improve the use of urban stormwater resources in various aspects by engineering measures, such as pervious paving, rain garden, green roof, and non-engineering measures.With the analysis of hydrological conditions in Beijing and the measures of stormwater treatment in the demonstration projects of stormwater utilization, the author summarized the stormwater balance of the project, and the optimization methods of stormwater treatment in site planning.Through the analysis of the factors affecting stormwater treatment and the system of on-site stormwater treatment, the author proposed the site planning combines on-site stormwater treatment, which optimizes the site planning in multiple aspects, and improve stormwater treatment combining characteristics of residential areas in Beijing. |
