The stratum of Dalian is complicated, both have soft plastic-flow stratum and karst area. These complicated stratum bring trouble to the construction of the pile. For this reason, it’s easily to emerge quality accident in the process of the construction. Therefore it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth research on Concrete pile’s construction technology and construction process. At the same time, we should also deal with pile construction for effective process control.This article describes commonly used construction methods and quality control measures for mechanical drilling pile, by the example of Dalian Jinzhou District Vanke City Pile Engineering. Geological conditions are complex in this example, contain claypan, karst cave,air-raid shelter and many other factors that are not conducive to the construction. So this Engineering according to different geological conditions, adopts different mechanical drilling methods, such as normal circulation rotary drilling, impact holing drilling and rotating drilling. By contrast the efficiency and quality of these three different construction method, it is known that:the rotating drilling has the highest efficiency, but the mud protection effect is poor, it is not suitable for the hole collapse area. But it is not suitable for the karst area. The drilling rate of the impact holing drilling is slow, but it is suitable for the rock stratum. Research on the project, we can summarize sort out the advantages and disadvantages of various drilling method, and the different ways in different geological conditions. Quality control points of various drilling methods are also different, only targeted control each construction stage, just to achieve the timely and effective control of construction quality. In this paper, this engineering construction quality control are summarized and concluded, in order to provide some valuable reference for other similar projects.
