With the rapid development of economic, car ownership increasesharply.However,Vehicle as a double-edged sword, not only bring convenience topeople’s lives but also bring a series of negative effects, such as traffic problems(congestion, accidents), environmental issues, such as exhaust emission. As a hub ofcity road, intersection restricts road service level. It is essential to evaluateintersection with scientific and effective before the implementation of scientific trafficmanagement.Evaluate intersection can be cut from many aspects, such as road trafficefficiency, service level. With the traffic congestion increase severely, vehicle queuingtime of intersection effect road traffic efficiency and servicelevelsignificantly.Therefore,thepaper selected vehicle queuing time under thesignalized intersection as an indextoevaluate the efficiency of intersection. Meanwhile,with the intense of transportation impact onenvironment (emissions, vibration, etc.),environment factors also become an important index of the intersection evaluation.The paper select vehicle fuel consumption as economic evaluation indicator toanalyze, which both reflect the intersection of economicefficiencyand reflect thetraffic impact onsurroundingto some extent.Intersectionevaluationbased on trafficinformation collection technology, the existing data collectionmethordcan not meetthe requirement of differ index accuracy.Internet of vehicle as an extension of internetof things in traffic sector, providing a critical technology in order to achieve thedynamic traffic data gathering and interaction. Under internet ofvehiclesituation,traffic information collection and disseminationhaslowlatencycharacteristics. By using wireless communication technology, informationexchanged between the vehicle and the vehicle, vehicle and the road side unit, vehicleand infrastructure to meet the needs of the intersection of evaluation data.Based on the above background, the paper first analyze research status at homeand abroad as well as significance of the intersection evaluation. Followed byselection for the intersection operational efficiency of vehicles queuing time as theevaluation index, predict signal controlled intersection vehicles queuing time, andimprove the existing model. Third, analyze signalized intersections fuel consumption of different car work conditions in internet of vehicles, according to the secondchapter model to predict the amount of fuel in the vehicle queuing time consumption,as economic evaluation aspectofintersection. Finally, take advantage of simulationsoftware VISSIM to validate the proposed model, fuel consumption and vehiclesimulation analysis. Simulation results show that the improved model can describe thevehicles queuing feature better.Thus, the paper takes advantage of vehicle of internet technology in terms oftraffic information collection and analysis vehicle queuing time at signalizedintersections as well as vehicle fuel consumption, providing efficiency and economicaspects of the intersection evaluation index in order to supply scientific trafficmanagement basis for decision-maker.
