Taiyuan as an old industrial city, there are many provincial and national oldindustrial bases, its occupants are mostly industrial workers and industrialworkers, they made a great contribution to the development of national industry.With the continuous upgrading and adjustment of China’s industrial structure,and the changes of time and conditions are required to update the correspondingfacilities improved, the residents living environment highlights many problems,such as: a lot of residential and ancillary facilities aging, the terrible livingenvironment, the lack of functional materials, such as traffic congestion statusseriously affects the quality of life of residents.This article as a starting point, based on the current situation of Shanxi oldindustrial residential environment, through a large number of relevant referencesand update the instance, the author attempts to TISCO employees`livingenvironment as an example, the survey of half a year, according to theresidential area, road facilities, landscaping and ancillary facilities and several aspects, lead an effective way to explore the renovation of old industrial areas oflife.In a practical understanding of their residential environment, interior layoutand furnishings, landscape configuration and the surrounding facilities and otherissues, This article puts forward the construction of the sustainable developmentof residential environment and harmonious human environment of thetheoretical basis and the concrete implementation method from improving theliving environment, living conditions and strengthen the function of mixedupdate three aspects.
