Taiyuan as an old industrial city, there are many provincial and national oldindustrial bases, its occupants are mostly industrial workers and industrialworkers, they made a great contribution to the development of national industry.With the continuous upgrading and adjustment of China’s industrial structure,and the changes of time and conditions are required to update the correspondingfacilities improved, the residents living environment highlights many problems,such as: a lot of residential and ancillary facilities aging, the terrible livingenvironment, the lack of functional materials, such as traffic congestion statusseriously affects the quality of life of residents.This article as a starting point, based on the current situation of Shanxi oldindustrial residential environment, through a large number of relevant referencesand update the instance, the author attempts to TISCO employees`livingenvironment as an example, the survey of half a year, according to theresidential area, road facilities, landscaping and ancillary facilities and several aspects, lead an effective way to explore the renovation of old industrial areas oflife.In a practical understanding of their residential environment, interior layoutand furnishings, landscape configuration and the surrounding facilities and otherissues, This article puts forward the construction of the sustainable developmentof residential environment and harmonious human environment of thetheoretical basis and the concrete implementation method from improving theliving environment, living conditions and strengthen the function of mixedupdate three aspects. Directly to the regional structure within the closedquestions, activates the boundary region of space through the internal andexternal traffic and the way to achieve integration of internal and external spaceof residential area, area of single internal space and public space, through theadjustment of the layout structure, updating the facade decoration and improvingpublic space.To use suitable measures to improve the living the environment ofold residential area, residential energy conservation, according to the currentspecification requirements, puts forward the measures of heat preservation andwater saving and land saving strategies.The layout of residential environment, facilities, transportation system,building and property management and other factors in the system are integratedand summarized.Through theoretical study and practical research methods,analysis of old residential status, combined with the regional situation and therelated technology, put forward the feasible solution. The paper has a practical guiding significance of TISCO the old industrial area renewal practice, but alsoenriches the theoretical achievements of renewal of old industrial district to live.
